Q. How long is the program?
A. The program is 9 months long.
Q. How does YouthBuild work?
A. YouthBuild students work on a rotating schedule: one week of construction and one week in education.
Q. Who provides the education portion?
A. ECOT (Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow) provides the education for the High School Diploma and CCCTC for the GED.
Q. Can I apply to YouthBuild if I am already graduated?
A. Yes, but there are limited construction spots for those who have already graduated.
Q. What do I gain from the construction end of the program?
A. You will receive the industry recognized Pre-Apprenticeship Certification Training.
Q. Will I get paid?
A. Yes, you will receive pay for the construction portion of the program.
Q. Can I live at the YouthBuild homebase?
A. No, we cannot accommodate live-in students.
Q. Do you help me get a job?
A. We do follow-up and do our best to place you in the best situation for you, with your help.
